Ikh gazryn chuluu
The Ikh Gazriin Chuluu is a complex cliff of granite, patchy, and diorite crushed rocks of Permian and Cretaceous origin. Located at 1565-1709 meters above sea level, the area is 600 square kilometers long, 30 kilometers long, and 15 kilometers wide. It has more than 40 caves, and the cave called Tag Turny Baast (pigeon droppings) is 30 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and 10 meters high. The location is home to more than 20 animals, including marmots, foxes, black insects, hawks, bark, and corsac foxes. The area was designated as a nature reserve in 2003 and was protected as a national park in 2012. Here is a monument dedicated to the national elder singer N. Norovbanzad and her popular song “Uyuhan Zambu Tiviin Naran”. In addition, the first open-air theater, named after the great singer, was founded in Ikh Gazriin Chuluu.
