The museum is notable for being on par with the standards of the Chinggis Khan Museum, serving as a secondary facility. Of the exhibits stored in the collection, 60% are original artifacts, 20% are content-based displays, and 20% consist of replica exhibits. The replica items include those related to the history and culture of Khan Khentii, such as historically significant and natural landmarks like Rashaan Khad, which cannot be transported. These replicas are presented using modern technology to simulate the original sites, creating a realistic experience for visitors. On July 27, 2023, it began operations with 7 halls, in accordance with modern standards.
