Great Mountains) National Park covers an area of \u200b\u200bapproximately 630,000 m\u00b2 and is the largest national park in Mongolia. The highest peaks of the Altai Mountains, the Huiten peak (4374m), the Nairamdal peak (4192m), the Burged peak (4068m), the Martin peak (4051m), and the Ulgii peak (4050m), are the five major mountains of perennial snow. Above, there are scenic lakes such as Holgan, Hoton and Lake Dayan. The foot of the Huiten peak is covered with the Potanin Glacier. The national park is home to rare wildlife such as Siberian ibex, malal deer and elk.
