| DAY 2 | Ulaanbaatar - Southgobi - Khongor sanddunes | Private car | In the morning, we will travel from Central Gobi to South Gobi. We will take a private car to Dalanzadgad city in South Gobi. After arrival, we will visit Yolyn Am Valley and the Gobi Nature Museum. The valley is known for its thick ice formations and beautiful green meadows, and during the summer rains, small waterfalls sometimes appear along the cliffs. It is also famous for its diverse flora and fauna, giving visitors a close experience with the unique natural environment. After that, we will head to the Khongor Sand Dunes (about 200 km), the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. | DAY 3 | Southgobi - Khongor sanddunes - Bayanzag | Private car | After breakfast, we will visit the Khongor Sand Dunes, a famous filming location. Let’s do our best to reach the top! Known as the “Singing Sands,” these dunes rise up to 80 meters above the plain and stretch for approximately 180 km. The breathtaking landscape is surrounded by lush vegetation, nourished by the small Khongor River. You can hike and slide across the dunes and enjoy a short camel ride. In the afternoon, we will drive to Bayanzag (about 140 km), the site where Roy Chapman Andrews first discovered dinosaur fossil beds and documented dinosaur eggs in 1922.
